Run The Vines #8 - 24 September 2019 - Anura Wine Estate - National Braai Day
For the 3rd time one of our Run The Vines Trail Runs will take place at the majestic Anura Wine Estate near Klapmuts.
Positioned on the foothills on the Simonsberg Mountains, Anura boasts a wide variety of soils, slopes and micro climates. This allows the farm to grow a wide selection of cultivars, some uncommon in South Africa, and also to match each cultivar with its ideal soil and micro climate. With each passing harvest they learn more about their soils and vineyards, and refine their vineyard and cellar practices in order to create the finest wines for their unique terroir.
With the splendid restaurant and Wagon Trail Brewery you can be sure that National Braai Day will be a special one. A braai menu will be available on the day and we will have live music to entertain you while you relax after your run.
Under /12 - 3km Henties Junior Challenge -- Free - Start 8:30 Adults can accompany the kids at R50 per person.
5km Run The Vines - R100 - Start: 8:15
10km Run The Vines - R120 - Start: 8:00
17km Run The Vines - R150 - Start: 7:30
Registration will be open from 6:45.
R30 Late entry fee.
Timing by Timing.mobi and is free of charge.
There will be a dedicated safe keeping area to keep all your valuables. Please do not leave items such as handbags, cell phones and wallets in the car.
