The 2nd De Wet Cellar Adventure Trails Trail Run will take place on the 17th of October 2020.
Last years event turned out to be one for the calendar if you want to spend a day out with family and friends. The trails are spectacular and the food, wine, gin and craft beer at the race venue was the best!!
De Wet Cellar was founded on 15 April 1946 and is the oldest cellar in the Worcester area. Originally, it produced about 3 000 tons of gapes annually, but over the years it has developed into a quality cellar processing around 18 000 tons annually. The main focus of De Wet Cellar is to over deliver on quality, thus creating a product that markets itself. The variety of terroirs in the De Wet-Overhex-Nuy-area where De Wet Cellar’s grapes are grown, secures the style of wine De Wet Cellar is known for.
This event is for the trail runner that is looking for something special as well as a bit of a challenge therefore there are no "short" routes. Only a 15km and 21,1km. The elevation for the 21,1km is 721m. The views from the top of the valley is spectacular..
We are only able to accommodate 200 participants in total so make sure that you enter on time.
