The Pink Xtreme Trail Run is an event that started in 2016 at the spectacular Vrede and Lust Wine Estate to raise funds for CANSA. Last year an amount of R96 000 was raised.

Because of Covid 19 that is till having a huge impact around the world we are unable at this stage to plan our normal 5km, 10km and 21km Trail Run in October. 

This however created new opportunities for us and this year we will go virtual with our event. The fact that we are going virtual enable us to attract runners all over the country and even the world to participate in this special event while contributing their full entry fee to CANSA. Yes!! Your full entry fee of R100 will be donated to CANSA.

The fact that we go virtual also gives us the opportunity to ad a Half and Full Marathon road run to the event. If you are not a trail runner you are now able to support the event by doing your 21.1km and 42,2km distances on the road.

If we are able to host the actual Trail Run due to Covid restrictions being lifted we will then re-open the entries for the actual Trail Run. Runners that would then like to take part in the actual event at Vrede and Lust will then receive a R100 voucher to ad to their actual event entry. The actual event will not include the Half and Full Marathon. These two distances will only be virtual.

On the 10th of October 2020 you will be able to dress up in PINK to show your support for CANSA.

Event Info:  Please note that if you entered the virtual run after the 22nd of September when we opened entries for the actual event then you can only take part in the virtual event. Entries for the actual event are closed. The actual event on the farm is sold out and we will not except late entries on the day.

Every entry for the virtual event will stand chance to win some of the amazing prizes up for grabs in the lucky draw.

The lucky draw session will be Live Streamed on the 10th of October at 4pm from the Vrede and Lust Wine Estate.

A Pink Xtreme Club will also be created on Strava to enable runners to allocate their times onto the "leaderboard". We will have a specific lucky draw prize in each category for the Strava runners.
