Proud to announce that our new venue for the Heritage Day Run The Vines is the impressive Eikendal Wines.
Eikendal Wines, with its distinctive barrel-vaulted cellar and towering fountain, is a landmark on the R44 road between Somerset West and Stellenbosch. Situated in the “Golden Triangle” of wine growing, Eikendal vineyards flourish in a mountain and maritime microclimate, ideal for the production of quality wine. Since 1981, the 76 hectare wine farm has been under the ownership of the Saager family from Zurich, Switzerland. The Swiss owners recognised the great potential of the area and wasted no time in modernising the existing vineyards and establishing the cellar.
We are looking forward to hosting you at Eikendal.
With stunning views and an amazing outside entertainment area I can assure you that you will be treated with some of the best wines in the area.
Eikendal in association with Giovannis Restaurant will come up with some special meals on Heritage Day to make the day memorable. More info on specials and bookings at the restaurant will be available soon. In the mean time you can contact the restaurant at 021 855 5033 to be sure that you will have a booked table for the day.

Adult accompanying a child on 3km - R70
5km Run The Vines - R120 - Start: 8:45
10km Run The Vines - R140 - Start: 8:30
17km Run The Vines - R170 - Start: 8:00
R30 Late entry fee.
All unpaid entries will be removed after 3 days.
Waterpoints will be available. It is however always advised to be self sufficient when it comes to hydration when you run.
Your entry fee includes the R10 timing fee. Timing is done on Webscorer.
Free Oasis Paarl water at the finish line.

There will be a dedicated safe keeping area to keep all your valuables. Please do not leave items such as handbags, cell phones and wallets in the car.
