Our Run The Vines Night Runs are back with a bang!!!

We found two spectacular wine farms near Stellenbosch that are just the right venues to host our night runs again.

Firstly we will run at the majestic Delheim Wines on the Knorhoek Road near Stellenbosch. Our 1st run at Delheim will happen on Thusrday evening the 30th of November at 6:30pm. We will have a 5km and 10km run.

The trails on the farm is the perfect trails for the novice runner as well as the more experienced runner. You will run a small section on a gravel road before heading into some amazing single track. Then the gravel roads through vinyeards will lead you into some more single track taking you up the mountain. At the top the most amazing views will await you if you make it to the top before dark. Then its downhill back towards the start/finish area through some single track in the forest and some easy jeeptrack to take you back home.

We can only accommodate 50 runners at a time at this stage so make sure that you enter to avoid disappointment. 

We will have cold beer, Delheim wine and a Boereworsroll at the finish line to enjoy before we do prize giving. The beer, wine and boerie can be ordered online when you enter.

Also note that R20 of your entry fee will be donated to the Greater Simonsberg Conservancy: The Greater Simonsberg Conservancy is a Non Profit and Public Benefit Organisation, with the aim to support its private landowners around the base of the Simonsberg Mountain, Klapmutskop and the Banhoek Valley, in their conservation efforts, as well as providing environmental education and conservation awareness services in the surrounding communities.  

Our second night run for 2023 will take place at Delvera near Klapmuts  on the 29th of December 2023. Also only 50 spots available.

Strart at 18:30  -  Entry Fee  -  R150 includes the R20 permit fee for the conservancy.

Wine R60 per bottle - R20 per glass  -  Beer R35  -  Boerie R30

Medals for all finishers.

Timing by Bouttime. Live results. You will also receive a SMS with your time after your run.

Headlamp is compulsory.
