After the success we had last year we are looking forward to hosting this event again in 2024 in conjunction with the Nuy Festival.
The words of well-known lead motor bike rider Graig Struwig when he brought the 1st rider in:" WOW. That was the best trails I have ridden".
The Nuy Valley, 13km from Worcester on the Robertson Road (R60), is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful hidden areas in the Western Cape. The friendly citizens of the Valley are looking forward in sharing their festivities with you on Saturday, 11 May 2024, the beauty, their award-winning wines and old world charm of the Nuy Valley. Be assured to experience the exceptional!
The popular Nuy Valley Festival is hosted by Nuy Winery at Nuy on the Hill, Willow Creek Olive Estate, Lions Creek Olive Estate and Leipzig Country House and Winery. There is a wide variety of activities and things to do for the entire family – and especially the young ones. We will be having tons of fun including live music, wine tasting & sales, olive oil tastings, German, and other traditional dishes, Craft beer, a Trail Run, a MTB run and lots more.
Runners entering the run or the ride will get a free ticket to the Nuy Festival valued at R250. For all the info on the festival please go to https://www.nuyvalleyfeast.co.za/
The route for the run and the ride will meander through the spectacular farms that form part of the festival. The longer distances will take you on magnificent gravel roads close to the mountains as well as some single-track sections on the existing Nuy Trails. You can be assured of some spectacular views along the route.
We are also adding a Hike The Vines hike on the Sunday.
The start and finish will take place at the Lions Creek Olive Estate where the original very well-known MTB started years ago.
All farms that form part of the festival will make sure that the water points are enjoyable.

Trail Run - Entry Fee includes a free ticket to the Festival valued at R200.
- 5km Trail Run - R170 - Start: 8:45
- 10km Trail Run - R200 - Start: 8:30
- 17km Trail Run - R230 - Start: 8:10
- 35km Trail Run - R280 - Start: 7:20
Trail Run Prizes
35km - Prize money only for 1st place male and female - R1 000. (2nd and 3rd place podium finishers will receive prizes.)
17km - Prize money only for 1st place male and female - R750. (2nd and 3rd place podium finishers will receive prizes.)
10km and 5km - 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will receive prizes.
MTB - Entry Fee includes a free ticket to the Festival valued at R200.

- 35km Ride The Vines - R250 - Start: 7:45
- 60km Ride The Vines - R300 - Start: 7:15
E-Bikes are welcome but no prizes will be available.

2nd Male and Female - R750
3rd Male and Female - R500
35km and 17km - 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will receive prizes.

Bring the family and friends and join us on the 11th of May 2024 for a day of Fun, Music, Wine, Craft Beer Good Food and Kids Entertainment and lots of fun.
Participants will hand their race number in to be able to collect their entry ticket to the Nuy Festival. No number no entry to the festival.
